Dietician
Maroochy Waters Medical Practice now has a dietician visiting on a fortnightly basis (every Wednesday) .
Ms Leanne Levin brings a wealth of knowledge to food and eating. She is an accredited practicing dietician, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, SDA Sports Nutrition and BSc Speech Pathology.
Leanne is involved with lecturing to groups including fitness instructors, individuals with diabetes, executives and amateur sporting clubs. Leanne consults patients on weight management, diabetes education, high cholesterol, vegetarian diets, osteoporosis, lactose intolerance patients, Coeliac disease, sports nutrition and advice on many other health related topics.
No referral is required. Services are claimable on private health insurance 'extras' cover. DVA gold cards are accepted.
